„there is always something going on at the Wibenhof“.
Farm tours with Walter
Being a farmer is his passion. And he has made it his profession. Walter will take you into the world of sweet fruits. Every single tree bears his signature. You will learn everything about planting, planting material, watering, varieties, storage, shelf life, processing possibilities, diseases, etc.
The Val Venosta apricot
„a very special fruit!“
Sweet and slightly sour at the same time. A delight when freshly harvested from the tree, consumed. Optimally suited for processing into fruit spread, dried fruit or fruit leather.

Sweet cherry
Several varieties are grown at Wibenhof. Distinctive in taste, which is achieved by the altitude.
Red Williams pear
It can be enjoyed fresh, as pear puree or dried. What you should not miss when you visit South Tyrol is the tasting of a Williams schnapps!

„Fruit fresh from the tree – a very special taste experience!“
Helping out at the farm
Once really experience the everyday life of a mountain farmer. Would that be something for you? If so, here you get the opportunity!
„There’s always something to do“

Spring

When sowing seeds or planting seedlings in the garden, planting trees in the plant or pricking…

Summer

In summer, fruit is harvested, sorted, processed and delivered. Here, too, many helping hands are needed.
Weekly offer*: „Brettl-Marende“
If you are a real gourmet, like it spicy and natural, we have a typical South Tyrolean delicacy for you

Speck, Kas and Kaminwurzen with Vinschger Paarl and Schüttelbrot.
With wine from the organic farm Lehengut in Castelbello, or from other selected farms.
Depending on the season with radishes, spicy radish, fresh tomatoes or home-pickled vegetables.
*on request and for a fee
Hiking offer*: Covelano alp

Together we hike to the Covelano alp, our house alp. We start either on foot directly from the Wibenhof. This would be the more intensive variant (2.5h – 3.0h) or you decide for the easy hike.
For this we drive by car to the Haselhof at about 1,500 m and are on foot in about 1.5h to 2.0h on the alp. There Christian and his team will feed us with local dishes.

If you are still brave, come with us to the Covelano lake or the Jennwand.
*On request and for a fee. The hike takes place only in optimal weather conditions. Food on the alp not included.
