The Wibenhof has been in the family for over 200 years and is now run as a specialty crop farm. Walter, farmer and father of three grown-up boys, took over the farm from his father Karl in 1998.

A lot has changed since we took over the farm more than 24 years ago. While the older generation have tilled the fields mainly in the heaviest manual labor, there are now machines and technical aids. Despite all this, the daily work can not be done without physical effort. The outdoor activity is incredibly enriching, makes inwardly satisfied and gives a lot of joy.
„Every day you experience the wonder of nature anew!“

The conversion from grain fields and livestock farming, to special crops such as the Vinschger apricot, the sweet cherry and various varieties of pears, expanded over a number of years and now counts as the main source of income for the farm.

In 2020, in addition to the cottage garden, a separate herb garden was planted. The garden „No. 27“, as it is affectionately called by the boys.

The sunbathing lawn, opposite the farmhouse, is very popular. With a campfire and good company, it is also possible to stay longer.
